“ Cute little place. Seemed very popular with locals who had booked the tables but staff happy to squeeze people in. ”
“ We needed to stop for breakfast as we passed through town. I had never heard of a restaurant inside a garden supply store, but it had good reviews so we decided to try it. The Potting Shed was very cute and looked like a little greenhouse. We even bought a few fun items in the store on our way out. We’ve have had quite a few Scottish/English breakfasts on our trip across the UK, this was one of our favorites! ”
“ Delicious food and decent prices. Welcoming staff. What’s not to like ”
“ Nice restaurant/cafe, part of a small garden centre. Food is delicious and freshly cooked to order. A very good choice of options available, lovely selection of cakes. Service is friendly and efficient. Nicely decorated and pleasant atmosphere, could do with curtains at the windows to help with internal noise reduction though, as currently the lack of any soft furnishings makes it very noisy. Well worth a visit for a quality lunch or afternoon tea, coffee and cake. ”
“ Every time I have been here, whether to take away or to dine in, I have had a great experience. The staff are very friendly and the food lovely. They even do gluten free and are aware of cross contamination. As a coeliac I am very happy to recommend this place whether you are local or just passing through Duns. ”
“ Lovely food and service. My sister loved the tea portion she thought it was a magic teapot she's bonkers. ”
“ Great choice on menu and big portions..great and efficient staff ..highly recommended.. ”
“ We regularly use this coffee stop when out cycling. Lovely coffee and teas. The cakes and tray bake’s are fantastic There are more substantial meals and lite bites to tempt you as well It’s part of a Garden centre and building supplies centre but the cafe is set adjacent to this Plenty of storage for bicycles and you can view from the cafe/restaurant. Toilets have been newly updated. Very smart! Staff are always attentive and friendly Orders are taken at the table ”
